Who we are
Polished Experience is a training and consultancy business run by Rusty Lloyd, based in West Sussex, United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us at fabulous@polishedexperience.co.uk.
What we collect
When you use our contact or enquiry forms, or email us, we collect the information you choose to give us. This usually includes your name, business or organisation, email address, phone number if provided, and the details of your enquiry.
When we deliver training, we may hold the names of attendees and, for our programmes, attendance records and anonymised confidence scores that we share with the organisation that commissioned the training.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a conversation
- To prepare proposals and deliver the services you book
- To send invoices and keep business records
- To produce reports for the organisation that commissioned training
We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running our business, and on the performance of a contract when you book our services. We keep financial records where the law requires us to.
Marketing
We will not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing emails unless you have asked us to. We never sell or rent your information.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run our business, including our website host, our form provider (Formspree, which may process data in the United States under appropriate safeguards) and our email and customer relationship management tools. They process your information only on our instructions.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to two years if no work follows, and client and financial records for up to seven years for accounting and legal purposes.
Cookies and fonts
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google when pages load.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to data portability. To make a request, email fabulous@polishedexperience.co.uk.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
